zindangi

har lamha daudti, muskurati, rulati,

yeh zindangi ek railgadi,

har station par naye musafir,

har musafir ko bulati bithati,

naam aur kaam se matlab nahin,

har kissi ko apnati,

apni manzil par pahuch musafir ko chod

phir nayi rahoon pe nikal jati,

na iski rahein khatam hoti,

na hi yeh khud ko rok pati,

daudti, bhagti, hasati, rulati,

yeh zindangi ek railgadi.

Life = leveraging internal forces and energies

Life for me it means leveraging internal forces and energies. Getting to know what actually we are. Through continuous reading of different books on behaviour and human excellence I came to this conclusion that if we want we can train our brain into whatever we want ourselves to achieve. Our emotions, our body, our intellect, everything is in our control and we can handle all these. We have the steering wheel for every possible thing by which can create or destroy our destiny then why there are only few who are successful and rest live a mediocre life.

If we can make our destiny and all the answers are lying inside us then why are we not able to find the answers. I read in some books that we do not ask the right questions and that is why we do not get the right answers. If we knew that the question we are asking is not right at that moment we definitely would change it, but the question lies how to know whether the question is right or wrong. If we keep on thinking about every step we are taking and we start analyzing all our actions it will be very difficult for us to perform in this world. Then what is the right way so that we can achieve our goals and at the same time be content with the quality of life we have created for ourselves.

part iii

People doing an extraordinary work get an extraordinary result and they are considered to be extraordinary people and that is because of an intention which is slightly extra than ordinary. They think they can achieve what they want to. They believe that achievement is a natural thing which follows if you have the right intention and action towards the achievement and you will get it in due course of time. Achievement belongs to those who do something extra even if they have to take some extra pain for that. They believe they can be as successful and competent as anyone else. These people are usually not smarter or talented than anyone else but they have the right intention. Intention makes the difference. Achievement is very easy to get because there are not too many people that are seriously after what they can achieve in their lives because they do not know the power of intention, which can ultimately turn into your potential to achieve what you want to achieve in your life.

Part ii

Our intentions and behavior is being controlled by so many people and events out there that we are not able to decide whether we are what we are or as Shakespeare said we are mere puppets on this stage and others are controlling us and enjoying what they are doing. We half of the time are not even aware of the intentions with which we are working for on a particular task. These are the people of our environment. That’s why it’s so important for us to control our intentions.

A poor intention acts as a magnet for unpleasant experiences. We get what we demand out of our life and our outlook towards life is a kind of pencil and with this we will make a sketch of our outside world. It can be bright picture or a dark one, it can have rays of hope and it can have dullness and darkness. The world we experience is a reflection of our intention.

We should never wait for the people in our environment to react first for what we want, we should act first. We should be nice to them instead of waiting for them to be nice to us all the time. Sitting in front of a gas and waiting for it to light up automatically is silly. We should burn the fire inside us so that people can get the heat out of it. This is our car of life, we need to fill in the petrol and hold the steering so that it goes in the direction where we want it to go. Our intentions work as the steering wheel which will guide our behaviors and action into the direction where we want our car to reach as final destination.

Intentions

“Intention” is the magic word. You are responsible for how your life turns out, and your intention shapes that life for better or worse. Develop a winning intention. Each of us creates his or her own life largely by our intentions behind our actions. We all want good results. A healthy intention is our best guarantee. Intention is defined as the reason for doing any action, feeling or mood. And it is our actions, feelings or moods that determine the actions, feelings and moods of others. Our intention tells the world what we expect in return. Make yours expectant and cheerful. You get what you expect. You can control your intention. Set it each morning. The world will reflect back to you the intention you present to them. It is then, our intention toward life that determines life’s intention toward us. We get back what we give out. Others treat us as we treat them. They only respond back to the behavior which we are presenting in front of them. As it is said every action has an equal and opposite reaction. They only give us back a reflection of our own intention. Our environment is a mirror. What we sow we’ll reap. What we give we’ll get. Change your intention or behavior and your surroundings will change. Each of us shapes his or her life largely by our habitual intention.

from son to dad

A letter from son to father,

you might have seen so many posts from fathers to son, this one from a son. A son who is always at mistake because he is learning and father says when will you learn. He becomes a father and still commits mistake and father says when will you learn. A son has only one thing to say. If i will learn i will not require a father and i need you always with me. I need you to make understand always, guide me. sometimes i commit mistakes just to feel that you are there to hold me. I am not a criminal i am just a person who is misguided and i always want you there to guide me. No matter how big i become i will be a misguided tourist for you always. i cannot leave you. i want you as my guide always.

Love you dad.

Intentions

Success comes automatically once we start loving our work. It should not be a burden but it should be a passion. We should not do any work for the sake of doing it, not even studies because then the whole intention behind that work goes wrong and that itself is a crime. If we cannot be true to ourselves in doing something how can it be right for someone else. If we are doing something the intention behind that work should be clear as to why we want to do that particular task.

Life has so many aspects and work which it wants us to do. We just need to identify the basic intention behind that work and then start doing it. If the intention we feel is not right we should not indulge in that activity, because during a person’s lifetime there are so many times when he is not able to see the intention behind the work and he ends up committing a big mistake. When we say that some person is great, is a visionary, a leader, what he does? He just sees the basic intention behind the work he is doing and then he decides whether to do that task or not. Once we start seeing the intention behind the things we can also come into the category of a leader, or a visionary.

Football Vs Cricket

Ah, the world cup is going on and the whole world is cheering their country to win, and then there are 100 crore people sitting in their drawing room, cheering for some other country. This is our great Indians. We are the second largest in terms of population and we cannot find 15 players out of such a huge crowd (yes crowd). What is the reason? Then comes a statement from our cricket captain that this time “I Promise we will bring world cup” Mr. MS Dhoni. We all are so excited that in cricket at least we have something on which we can be proud off.

What is the reason that we are not there in football. The reason is that we are so casual by nature that we do not have that mental framework to play this game which brings that adrenaline rush. A game, which requires alignment of mind and body, every second. Football is a game in which the players are continuously on the run, high level of fitness is required, very high mental tolerance and the pressure handling capabilities are required. We Indians are so casual and let go types that we are not at all fit for such a game. We are fit for cricket, they call it gentleman’s game, I call it the lazy game. At a time one person is bowling and one is batting rest all are spectators. If ball comes to the fielder he will run otherwise he can rest for the whole match standing on this position.

This shows that our alignment of mind and body which is required to progress in any field is not there. Our actions and not aligned with our thoughts. We take everything so casually, the fire in the belly to keep on progressing towards the other goal post is not there. We are not having that zeal to conquer the field. The killer instinct is missing.

We are progressing in some field of sports, Vishwanthan Anand, sania Nehwal, Vijender Singh, Rajyavardhan Rathore, some names we can be proud off. The game which requires relying on the other person to take the ball to the goal, is not meant for us. We are not able to work in a team where we can pass our ball for the benefit of the team. We are so egoistic in our everyday approach that we want that our ball should not go to somebody else. We cannot create goals and give the ball to someone else to actually put it in the net. We want our own power and status. This approach towards life and towards our individuality is becoming a such a hindrance in progress of our country and at the same time progress of our own self.

By taking this example of football and cricket I just wanted to bring this picture in front of our people that this is high time we should start playing as a team for the country. Then we can progress and not only the world cup we can conquer the world, we just need focus and our thoughts and align our actions so that we are there to stand in front of the world and say “Ï am a proud Indian”.

Being Indian and young too

Indian, the growing young country of the world economy today. India is being called a young country as we have the most young manpower in the world and the world is looking towards us to provide a skilled and hardworking manpower for the next century. We are yes fully equipped with the manpower, at the same time are we really looking towards what we will be providing to the world economy. The manpower is there yes, at the same time, is this manpower skilled enough to face the challenges of the world economy today. I got the chance of going to some engineering and MBA colleges as a part of my profile. Being a trainer you need to go all the places, when I interacted with the students who are tomorrows engineers and management tycoons, I went into a straight thought that, are we really ready? The students are just like robots they know what is there in the text books, at the same time they are least trained on what the market requires. The youth is not able to represent what it has in terms of knowledge. We are considered the most brainy guys throughout the world, we have given so much to this world and today our youth is aimless, in terms of what they want to achieve. Being an Indian I am proud of what my country has achieved in the past 6 to 7 decades, at the same time I am worried whether we will be able to continue the same trend

We are no doubt the largest manpower suppliers to the world, at the same time, we need to look into this matter of growing our youth in terms of facing the challenges and train them on all the aspects of what it takes to achieve your dreams. We are opening so many colleges and just giving plain degrees to the students and when they come into market they are not able to sustain the pressure of the marketplace as that is whole new world out there. We desperately need to look into this matter. Our leaders they are just busy in making money and power by just opening up some shops they call colleges and these shops are selling degrees to whomsoever comes. We need to check on the aptitude and the capability of the person who is doing that degree. It is now an alarming situation for the youth of this great country that they start taking their decisions in terms of what career field they want to choose. Making everybody an engineer, doctor, or MBA is not possible. There are so many fields open today, but the parents of this country are still living in that age where they just want to see a degree in the hands of their child, irrespective of the fact whether he will be able to do justice with that degree or not. We are not considering the fact that this situation is making youth go into the states of depression and anxiety at a very young age. There are so many cases of suicide happening every time the results of an examination are out. The youth is getting depressed by the pressure of competition in the market at the same time our youth has that much capability that they can decide what is wrong and right for them, they just need some guidance. How can any parent decide what his child can do, as the capability of a child is his individual strength. No one can choose or decide anybody else future or fate. Every person has the right to make his own destiny the way he wants without being pressurized from the dreams of their parents. Give them some space, that is being a parent, forcing your dreams on them is being a autocrat. The youth of India today is so confused in terms of what he should as what he wants to do is totally different from what he is doing. This raises the issue that whether this statement of being a young country really applies to us or not?
